JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Maintenance Coordinator in the day-to-day maintenance and field support activities of AT-802, FB-802, and BAE 146 Aerial Fire Fighting aircraft as well as special project activities and needs of Air Spray USA maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment and associated components in accordance with company manuals, manufacturer's manuals, including policies, procedures bulletins and orders.

Mechanics will be required to sign for work accomplished including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents, and properly tag all components including reason for removal.

Mechanics will perform all tasks assigned by lead mechanics, Maintenance Coordinator, or higher management.

Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies developed by supervisor.

Keep a constant watch for safety, excessive cost of labor duplication, ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed and approved hardware or supplies are used.

Attend all Company training classes as assigned.

Maintain an insurable driving record.

Must complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen.

Required Experience:

  • FAA A&P certification required.
  • Experience with AT-802, FB-802, BAE 146 preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of General Maintenance Manual policies and procedures.
  • General Understanding of CFR 14 Part 21, 25, 43, 91, 121, 137, and 145 regulations specifically related to maintenance and airworthiness requirements.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
