Description, duties, responsibilities
TOP THREE SKILLS 1) quality engineer 2) root cause analysis 3) aerospace. Led RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) team in performing root cause failure analysis on field returns and presented findings in an orderly and timely manner. Participated in weekly MRB (Material Review Board) meetings alongside a team of engineers to make educated and informed decisions regarding non-conforming material (NCM). Prepared and reviewed First Article Inspections (FAIs) Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) Quality Procedures Inspection Plans ECNs (Engineering Change Notice) Quality Manuals and Alerts for several military and commercial aircraft programs. Participated in both high speed and icing wind tunnel testing of early stage development products across multiple programs including Apache Boeing P-8A Cessna Mitac as well as performed thermal analysis of ice accumulation on leading edges (horizontal and vertical stabilizers). Designed and constructed test fixtures to conduct functionality tests for Boeings P-8A Navy Program. Conducted conference calls and sit downs with customers and FAA regulators to present and review FAI submission for approval and buyer sign off. Reviewed Manufacturing Procedures (MPs) and applied lean manufacturing methods to increase efficiency and overall quality assurance. Ensured dimensional of select products via a FARO Arm as well as made tools for inspection and prototyping through the use of AutoDesk Inventor and a 3D printer About Aerotek: We know that a companys success starts with its employees.
