Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and assistance to subordinates in proper procedures methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty.
Assist Marketing in the bid process.
Coordinate with other repair station departments to ensure continuity of workflow.
Assure duty time limitations are not exceeded.
Monitor the repair station s system and establish effective corrective actions to address discrepancies within the system.
Evaluate and appraise facility/equipment upgrades while maintaining the repair station premises in a clean and orderly manner.
Proper handling of all parts while in repair process to include storage control segregation and identification of all items or units removed from or awaiting installation on an aircraft.
Continually monitoring safety program compliance.
Staffing with adequate competent manpower to assure a quality product.
Ensure all equipment tools and materials are on site and under Repair Station control when work is being performed.

Ensuring periodic toolbox inspections are in compliance.
Maintaining total control of the aircraft assigned.
Ensure proper scheduling of manpower and proper skill levels through coordination with manpower planning for all functions necessary to meet company objectives.
Initiating requisitions for stock and materials as required through coordination with the Director of Maintenance and scheduling priorities.
Prepare and present daily status briefings on all aircraft assigned to include delivery man-hour and budget status.
Provide a focal point for all communications relative to assigned projects.
Act as backup to the Director of Maintenance for responsibility of the Scrap Materials program.
Plan billable man-hours on the aircraft for the day.
Shortfalls or excess of billable hours planned and actual for prior day.
Provide a percentage of routine and non-routine items open and completed.
Review areas which may affect the release date for the aircraft to include parts engineering and prolonged elapsed time service orders.
Ensure all items which exceed or are approaching their estimates are updated and approved by the customer.
Ensure non-routine items in order of priority requiring estimates from Leads are estimated and approved.
Evaluate percentage of total planned man-hours utilized compared to percentage of completion of work by aircraft zone or major work orders to ensure project is on schedule.

Requirements:
Must have good people skills and 5+ years of Management / Supervisory experience.
Aviation / Business Degree or equivalent aviation experience preferred.
Five (5)+ years experience performing as an accomplished aircraft mechanic with progression of responsibilities or have previous Production Supervisory experience.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Capable of interpreting drawings and blueprints to accomplish a specific task.
Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people.
Advanced computer skills (knowledge of MS Office programs such as Word Excel) are preferred.
