Primary Areas of Develop new avionics and electrical components for the aircraft. Coordinate the development with all appropriate stakeholders. Develop aircraft electrical system schematics harness and installation drawings. Manage electrical system projects with external suppliers. Ensure technical and schedule are met. Support the production floor with aircraft installation and testing of electrical system components. Support MRB team with NCR disposition. Support CS&S team with troubleshooting and provide technical guidance. Work closely with flight test team to install and test new component/system designs. Develop test and assist in electrical components testing and troubleshooting. Perform system calculations and studies for electrical power systems - load analysis voltage drop and wire sizing. Release of high-quality electrical designs. Meet schedule deadlines. Positive feedback from suppliers and coworkers. Has effectively been a team player and contributed to the development of the A5 in meaningful way. B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years designing and integrating aerospace avionics and electrical systems. Experience with production aircraft wire harness and avionics installation routing and testing. Experience creating wiring harness and cable routing diagrams. Experience with new product development and product life cycle from concept to production. Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting wiring harnesses and electrical components working closely with technicians. Experience creating technical requirement documents test plans and compliance reports. Electrical load analysis and failure mode analysis experience. Familiar with test equipment used for electrical testing such as multimeters oscilloscopes and signal generators. 8+ years of experience designing aircraft electrical systems. Experience with Creo and Creo Schematics. Ability to design low-to-medium complexity digital circuitry. Software experience such as Visual Basic and C++. Startup experience. Highly intelligent - Analytical and problem solver. Confident. Collaborative. Self-starter. Energetic/Passionate. Team player. Good judgment. Decisive.
