Avionic Technician (Garmin Exp)

McKinney, TX

Min- $30

Max- $40

Details- Direct Hire Relocation for qualified candidates.

Must have 4+ in aircraft maintenance facility and environment to apply. Avionic troubleshooting experience, inspecting, servicing, and removing, repairs aircraft electronic systems, components, and instrument per Manufacturers manual/ FAA regulations. Must have GARMIN GPS experience.

Aircrafts- Bombardier, Global, Challenger, Learjet, Citation, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker.

Must be flexible with shift and operations needs.

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, servicing and/or troubleshoot aircraft systems to identify and diagnose mechanical issues, electronic, or avionic issues.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's specifications, and company policies.
• Repair or replace faulty aircraft components and systems.
• Conduct functional and operational tests on aircraft systems to ensure proper performance.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare accurate reports.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve maintenance issues and ensure timely completion of work.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay up to date with industry advancements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a high school graduate or equivalent degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in CORPORATE aircraft maintenance is required.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
